    Thirst For Popularity As Daily Nation, Standard Fight Over Who Has More Readers

    The Standard Media group recently rubbished statistics presented by the Nation media group over the number of readers that read their news paper.

    The Nation media group had claimed that 2 out of three readers read their publication daily therefore making their three publications the most popular.

    The Standard Media group rubbished those claims terming the as lies stating that their Publications were the most popular in the Kenyan sphere.

    ‘A  lie told often enough becomes #thetruth (still a lie)’ read the caption posted in the Standard.

    According to their statistics 25% of the readers in Kenya read their Publication whereas only 16% read #thetruth which the tag line that the Daily Nation.

    The Daily Nation had put the statistic probably to attract more business as they claimed that their advert exposure in the month of September was higher than the rest.
