    Geoffrey Oduor Gangla Elected New KRU Chairman

    Geoffrey Oduor Gangla has been elected as the new Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) chairman at today’s Annual General Meeting at the RFUEA Grounds.

    Oduor, who was the union’s Secretary General, succeds outgoing chairman Richard Omwela, who did not vie.

    He garnered 33 votes – 13 more than his closet challenger Alexander Mutai and Asiko Owiro, who came third with a paltry 2 votes.

    Geoffrey Gangla – 33 votes
    Asiko Owiro – 2 votes
    Alexander Mutai – 20 votes
