Senator Hassan Omar’s campaign vehicle was on Friday morning vandalized by unidentified people.
The road show truck was stoned by goons at around 3am.
According to reports, no one was hurt during the incident. The truck is said to have been vandalized and some parts made away with.
It is also said that the attackers also attempted to petrol bomb Omar’s campaign operations secretariat at Renaissance Center but failed.
Mombasa District Criminal Investigation Officer (DCIO) arrived at the scene and said that investigations had been launched.
Omar is seeking to unseat Governor Hassan Joho who recently termed him a Jubilee ‘mole’ claims the legislator rubbished.
