The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has advertised three senior positions as it seeks to strengthen its leadership and operations.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, KNEC said it was seeking to recruit a Director of Assessments Administration, Director of Research, Quality Assurance and Planning, and Deputy Director of Finance and Accounts.
The council said successful candidates would be offered competitive remuneration commensurate with the responsibilities of the respective positions.
“The Council will offer a competitive remuneration package commensurate with responsibilities of the position,” KNEC said.
Interested and qualified candidates are required to complete and submit the relevant employment application forms alongside an application letter.
External applicants should complete Application for Employment Form KNEC 2A, while internal applicants are required to complete Application for Employment Form KNEC 2B.
Applicants must also submit certified copies of their academic and professional certificates and a detailed curriculum vitae.
The CV should include daytime telephone contacts, email address, current remuneration and a copy of the applicant’s latest payslip.
Applicants are also required to provide the names and valid current contacts of three referees.
All applications must reach KNEC by September 1, 2026.
