    Lugari MP Ayub Savula Released On Bail Alongside His Wives

    Lugari MP Ayub Savula who was arrested on Friday for obtaining money by false pretenses from the ICT Ministry has been released on a released on Sh1 million cash bail or Sh2 million bond with a surety of similar amount along side his two wives.

    The three pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit a felony in the Government Advertising Agency scandal case.

    The MP was also been told that they will not be allowed the country and that their passports will be presented at the DCI Headquarters tomorrow by 5PM.

    Media houses are owed closed to Sh. 2 billion who have not been paid for advertising government projects. Nation Media group and the Standard group are owed the most of the money with each demanding Sh.800million each.
