Manchester United gaffer Jose Mourinho is not at ease ahead of the Red Devils’ season opener against Leicester City on Friday.
The Portuguese is helplessly hoping that one of his returning World Cup stars will be available for selection for the crucial encounter.
Mrcus Rashford, Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof, all returned to training last week and gained a few minutes in Sunday’s 1-0 friendly loss to Bayern Munich but are still not at optimum.
He suggested at least one of Ashley Ypung, Jesse Lingard, Marouane Fellaini, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku will feature against the Foxes under the lights at Old Trafford.
However, with just a few days to the game he does not think they will have enough time to train to be ready.
“Rashford will be in a better situation than today,” Mourinho said after the Sunday tie.
“Lindelof the same, Jones the same and let’s see if one of the others is ready give us help, 20-25 minutes. Any help that can come from them, is welcome.”

He also gave an update on the players who are due to report back for training on Monday, following reaching the latter stages of the World Cup in Russia.
“They are back tomorrow,” he said.
“Even though, and I want to say a nice word, we were ‘unlucky’ to get the Friday match as we could get the Sunday (fixture).
