National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters and leaders are a stranded lot after police have this afternoon (Thursday 16th)sealed off Kamukunji and Jamhuri grounds thus denying them ‘dress rehearsal’ rally.
Initially, the rally was scheduled for The Kamukunji grounds but were were cordoned off by armed police forcing the opposition to change venues to Kibra’s Jamhuri grounds.
But the security officers are on site at the Kibra grounds, an hour after blocking entrance into the Kamkunji grounds.
NASA leaders were earlier on barred from making way into the Jomo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA) where they were meant to hold a presser ahead of Raila Odinga’s ‘grand welcome’ on Friday.
Also blocked from the airport were journalists providing coverage.

Odinga is expected to jet in tomorrow from the United Kingdom but is apparently holed up in Dubai after all his London meetings were cancelled.
Supporters have been invited for the grand welcome where they will make way to JKIA and a rally at Uhuru Park later on.
