A Nyeri political activist was on Wednesday night killed under unclear circumstances.
Joan Muthoni was knifed right in the thigh, police have said. She was rushed to Nyeri PGH Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Confirming the unfortunate incident was Nyeri Central OCPD Paul Kuria who said that Ms Muthoni was wounded by her business partner whose identity is yet to be released to the public.

The unidentified person after the act surrendered himself to the police.
“She was pronounced dead on arrival at Nyeri PGH Hospital. The suspect is being interrogated before being taken to court,” Kuria said.
The woman is famous for the ‘Sisi sio tichio’ video that went viral last year during the electioneering period.
