Telkom Kenya, Orange, has launched a new promotion meant to reward its customers. The newly launched promotion ‘Usinyamaze Revamped’ will see Orange Mobile customers make calls at KSh. 1.00 per minute to other Orange subscribers , from 5.00pm to 10.00am every day.

The current move is psyched by the latest CCK quarterly report which showed that the network gained 85% of its current subscribers in the last quarter of 2010.

There is an already existing tariff called Usinyamaze Tariff which allows Orange customers to make calls from 10.00am to 5.00pm for free, everyday, when calling within Orange Mobile, Orange Wireless (CDMA), and Landline customers.

From just KSh 100 on their account, pre paid customers on Orange Mobile will enjoy unlimited calls from 10 am to 5 pm, making an average rate of KSh 3.30 per day. This offer will be valid for 30 days from the day of subscription and is to cut across Orange Kenya’s  three networks: Orange Mobile, Orange Wireless (CDMA) and the fixed line network.

The CEO of Orange, Michael Ghossein, also said they will also be rewarding their customers for the amount of money they use every month. The bonus based on use will be redeemable at the beginning of every month and will be extended at the first recharge of every new month.
