NASA leader Raila Odinga is the ‘beneficiary of deaths’ witnessed in the country so far, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has said.

On Tuesday, a seven year old boy, Geoffrey Mutinda was killed while playing on their balcony in Nairobi’s pipeline estate.

It is said that Mutinda was hit by a stray bullet and so was a pregnant woman in the same building.

Mutahi questions why the police targets the children but never the knife wielding, stone throwing goons.

”How come police ‘bullets’ stray to kill children? Who benefits? The beneficiary is the killer!” his post reads in part.

Who is the KILLER of CHILDREN? How come POLICE 'bullets' STRAY to kill Children? Who BENEFITS? The BENEFICIARY is the KILLER! Raila or Raila?

The Kenyan police who according to a World Internal Security and Police Index (WISPI) report ranked the country at 125 out of 127, have been labelled ‘trigger happy’ and using excessive force on opposition supporters during demonstrations.

After the August 8 election, six month old Samantha Pendo was clobbered by the police while nine year old, Stephanie Moraa Nyarangi was hit by yet another stray bullet in Nairobi’s Mathare.

”How is it that during riots called by Raila Odinga a vulnerable person somehow gets shot; but never an armed violent rioter threatening the police officers?” Nyeri MP, Ngunjiri Wambugu posed.

”Someone is targeting young innocent children, and sending the compromised media to paint a picture of police brutality,” Gordon Opiyo, a Facebook user said.

Raila vowed to swear himself in as the President on Jamhuri day, December 12, and then ‘he will become a Military target for overthrowing a government,’ Mutahi said.

But the former Premiere has condemned the killing of the innocent and on Friday during a fundraiser for the felled protest victims asked that they (police) shoot him instead.

“If Raila is the problem, arrest him…arrest him. Take him to prison…take him to jail…And if you want to shoot, shoot Raila!” he said.

“But don’t kill people with young families. Children are going to grow without fathers, mothers because you have killed their parents at this age.”
