The other NASA principals, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi, have indicated that they learned of the Raila and Uhuru deal at Harambee House through the media.

In a joint statement issued this afternoon, the three leaders have indicated that they will be discussing details of the deals and emerging issues in the NASA retreat which is scheduled for 12th March.

“This morning, the 9th day of March, we through the media, a meeting between the President and Rt. Hon Raila Amolo Odinga.

While we have always advocated for dialogue as co-principals of the NASA coalition, we were not privy to the discussions at Harambee House,” read part of the statement.

There has been a back and forth between the NASA leaders with Mudavadi’s key lieutenant, Barrack Muluka accusing Raila of duping the other leaders during the swearing in ceremony.

Raila and the other NASA leaders have always disputed reports that the coalition was crumbling despite the strong indications that the leaders were pulling in different directions.
