Cristiano Ronaldo was once more the savior for Juventus – scoring an important away goal in 1-1 draw against Ajax on Wednesday night in Amsterdam.

The two clash in the return leg of the Champions League next week in Turin, with the Italian powerhouse favorites to make the semi-finals.

Ronaldo, 34, took his tally to 125 goals in 161 appearances in the competition with a superb diving header.

He is now 17 goals ahead of his nearest rival Lionel Messi. Can the Barcelona forward – nearly three years younger – catch him?

The goal also made the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward to become the first player in the history of the competition to score 64 knockout goals.
