Members of parliament have given president Kenyatta a three day ultimatum to sack CS National Treasury Henry Rotich.
They said that the CS has been mum about the various scandals that have been going on in the country. Saboti MP Caleb Amisi said that gazette notice that was issued by CS Rotich was the one that allowed importation of laced sugar.

They also said that the CS was lazy and ignorant and did not explain the Eurobond saga to Kenyans. The members of parliament said that Rotich was not the right person to be at treasury.
MP Caleb Amisi said that if the president does not take action within three days aq motion of impeachment would be tabled in parliament on Friday.
“We plead to the President to come in and reign and save this country from further deaths. When we talk about sugar being laced with lead and copper… these are dangerous metals for the consumption by human beings. We are at risk. This is a high time to call the CS off duty and we are giving him up to Friday,” he said
The MPs were speaking during a press conference in parliament.
