The State Department of Roads has announced more than 130 job vacancies across various technical, engineering, and instructional fields.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the department said it is seeking to recruit candidates for multiple senior and technical positions, including 14 Senior Engineer Materials, 11 Senior Lecturer (KIHBT), 15 Principal Instructor (KIHBT), one Superintending Geologist, and seven Chief Physicists.
Other advertised positions include 14 Principal Engineering Technicians (Materials – Laboratory), two Principal Engineering Technicians (Automotive), two Principal Engineering Technicians (Mechanical), 16 Senior Instructors (KIHBT), 10 Senior Engineering Technicians (Automotive), and seven Senior Engineering Technicians (Plant).
The department is also seeking to fill three Senior Charge Hand (Building – Plumbing), three Senior Charge Hand (Building – Carpentry and Joinery), 11 Senior Charge Hand (Motor Vehicle Mechanic), one Engineering Technician (Electrical), one Engineering Technician (Automotive I), and six Engineering Technicians (Mechanical I).
Additional vacancies include seven Driver Instructors and eight Plant Operator Instructors.
