The artiste said that a Jubilee activist had promised to pay him a whooping Shs. 500,000 but has only received a meager Shs. 40,000.

Sifa claimed to have received threatening messages causing him to retreat to Tanzania.

Mr Sifa is now pleading with the President to consider giving him a job as he is an orphan and needs money to send daughter to school.

He has asked his tribesmen to forgive and understand him.

“I was desperately looking for money to send my daughter to school and for food. I ask my Luo brothers to understand me. I have more than 10 albums and I have composed more than five songs for Mr Odinga. What wrong have I committed by composing a song for Uhuru?” he posed.
