Juja MP George Koimburi was Tuesday arrested by police in a probe into allegations he made.  The MP was apprehended outside his home on Tuesday morning and taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters for questioning. Kibera High Court denied Sarah Wairimu Cohen bond after the prosecution opposed her release. Wairimu, the widow of the late Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen will be remanded at Langata women’s prison until two key witnesses testify. Two suspects were arrested after a villager was stoned to death in Olontoto village, Narok County. The victim was accused of stealing a rooster in the area before he was confronted and killed in the Sunday evening drama. Police said Simon Kasaine, 39 was killed by a mob after he had been accused of stealing a rooster from a home. Detectives in Namanga arrested four robbery suspects who invaded the home of an elderly Korean couple at Elmarba within Oloililai, Kajiado County, subjecting them to hours of anguish before making away with valuables. A brother to the late Malava Member of Parliament Moses Malulu Injendi is dead. Samuel Injendi died a day before his younger brother passed on in Nairobi. Malulu died on Monday at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi. Samuel died while undergoing treatment at the Kakamega County General Hospital on February 16. One child and two adults were critically injured after a plane crashed and overturned while landing at Toronto Pearson airport in Canada, according to emergency services. Images shared on social media show a plane which appears to have flipped over and is lying on its roof on the snow-covered tarmac. It appears to be missing at least one of its wings.
