The killer behind the murder of Nairobi Hospital finance director Erick Maigo used two knives in the attack. The blood-stained knives were recovered in the house and results from the fingerprints show they were handled by one person who is the suspected killer, police said. It is believed the killer used one knife in the attack and after it became bloody she went for a second one. A gang of gunmen raided a village in an attempt to steal animals and killed a herder in Maralal, Samburu County. Police sand the raided Radar area within Soitpus village Monday morning prompting a shootout with security officials. This is after they attacked herders who were heading to the grazing fields. Police are investigating an incident in which a patient died by suicide at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). Reinhard Musau Maundu, 39, is said to have taken his own life on Saturday night. He was admitted to the renal unit on September 14 and was suffering from kidney failure, officials said. His body was found dangling on a binding wire in a corridor near the pay section of the administration block.
