Elsewhere in Rigoma, Nyamira County, one Nyakundi Mwamba, 60 was found dead and his body abandoned on a footpath.

The deceased’s eyes had been gouged out by the assailants. His face was bloody indicating he was hit by blunt objects leading to the death.

And police in Embu are investigating an incident where a worker died after falling from the third floor of a building under construction.

Police said Peter Mugendi, 22 was among workers at the site and was busy when he slipped and fell off landing headfirst.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.
