Eva María Navarro García, known as Eva Navarro, is a Spanish professional footballer born on 27 January 2001 in Yecla, in the Murcia region of Spain.
Navarro represents Real Madrid in Spain’s Primera División and the Spain women’s national team.
She developed her early passion for the game in a football-oriented family environment in Yecla, where opportunities for girls were limited, leading her to play with boys’ teams and futsal sides from a young age.
Her parents, Cayetano Navarro and Eva García, provided strong support, including long daily drives to training sessions in Alicante.
Siblings
Eva has brothers who share the family’s connection to football and local life in Yecla.
Her eldest brother, Álvaro Navarro, is a footballer who has played for Yeclano Deportivo, including at Spain’s third-division levels, and later for other regional sides such as Muleño.
She also has one other brother, Carlos.
Career
Navarro began with futsal at local clubs such as Hispania Yecla and A.D. Albatros before moving into outdoor football with Pinoso, where she played alongside boys.
In 2015, she joined Sporting Plaza Argel in Alicante, making her senior debut in the Segunda División and helping the side reach promotion play-offs in consecutive seasons.

In 2018, at the age of 17, she signed for Primera División club Levante UD, where she developed over four seasons, contributing goals and establishing herself as a promising attacker.
In 2022, she moved to Atlético de Madrid, recovering from serious knee injuries, including cruciate ligament issues, to feature regularly and win major domestic silverware.
In July 2024, she joined Real Madrid, becoming an important and versatile squad member capable of operating in multiple positions on the right flank.
Internationally, she progressed through Spain’s youth teams from U16 and U17 onwards, debuting for the senior national team in 2019.
She has continued to earn caps for Spain while competing at major tournaments.
Accolades
Navarro’s honours include winning the FIFA Women’s World Cup with Spain in 2023 in Australia and New Zealand.
She also won the UEFA Women’s Nations League with Spain in 2024.
At youth level, she claimed the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2018 in Uruguay. She finished third at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2016 in Jordan.
She won the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship in 2018 in Lithuania. She also reached the final of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2018 in France.
With Atlético de Madrid, she won the Copa de la Reina in 2023.
Her individual recognition includes selection for the 2018 UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship Team of the Tournament.
One of her goals was also ranked among the best of the season by UEFA, alongside other youth tournament awards.
