Taking a screenshot on an iPhone 6 is a quick and simple process that allows you to capture and save what’s displayed on your screen. Whether you want to save important information, share something with a friend, or keep a record of a conversation, a screenshot is an easy way to do it. Here’s how to take a screenshot on iPhone 6 using different methods.

    1. Using the Physical Buttons

The easiest and most common way to take a screenshot on an iPhone 6 is by using the Power button and Home button.

    Steps:

    • Open the screen you want to capture.
    • Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side of the iPhone 6).
    • At the same time, press the Home button (the circular button below the screen).
    • Quickly release both buttons.
    • You will see a flash on the screen, and a camera shutter sound will play (if your sound is on), indicating the screenshot was taken.
    1. Finding the Screenshot

After capturing the screenshot, it is automatically saved in the Photos app.

    To view your screenshot:

    • Open the Photos app on your iPhone.
    • Go to the Screenshots album or check the Recents album.
    • Tap on the screenshot to view, edit, or share it.
    1. Editing and Sharing the Screenshot

Once you have taken a screenshot, you can edit or share it immediately.

    • Tap on the preview that appears at the bottom left of the screen after taking the screenshot.
    • Use the markup tools to draw, highlight, or crop the screenshot.
    • Tap the share icon to send the screenshot via WhatsApp, Messages, Email, or other apps.
    1. Taking a Screenshot Without Buttons (Using AssistiveTouch)

If your Power or Home button is not working, you can use AssistiveTouch, a built-in iPhone feature that allows you to take screenshots without pressing physical buttons.

    Enabling AssistiveTouch:

    • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch.
    • Tap AssistiveTouch and turn it ON.
    • A floating button will appear on your screen.

    Taking a Screenshot with AssistiveTouch:

    • Tap the AssistiveTouch button.
    • Select Device > More > Screenshot.
    • The screen will flash, confirming that the screenshot has been taken.
