The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Monday summoned 14 candidates, who are alleged to have breached the electoral code of conduct during campaigns.
Among the summoned were: Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka, Wycliffe Wangamati (Ford Kenya), Kibwezi East MP Jessica Mbalu (Wiper), her rival Philip Kaloki (Jubilee), Starehe aspirant Steve Mbogo (ODM), Thomas Makori together with 8 others.
The candidates will appear before a team on Wednesday, June 21, together with complainants.
Wafula Chebukati has warned candidates vying in August 8 elections of breaking electoral code of conduct and that their committee will continue keeping an eye across the country as they do their campaigns.
