    The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) has announced 25 job vacancies in a new recruitment drive, with 13 of the positions being re-advertised.

    In a notice published in MyGov on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the state-owned company called for applications to fill various roles across different departments.

    Among the advertised positions are Senior Manager, Transmission System Planning; Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management; Manager, Real-Time Operations; Manager, Transmission Lines; and Manager, Electrical Design.

    Other openings include Senior Engineer, Power Dispatch; Senior Legal Officer, Commercial & Compliance Services; Senior Legal Officer, Litigation & Compliance; Senior Officer, Project Planning & Economic Regulation; and Senior Officer, Supply Chain Management Projects. Graduate Engineer positions are also available in Electrical Design and Civil & Structural Design.

    Additionally, KETRACO is seeking a Graduate Engineer in SCADA Telecommunication, a Legal Officer in Litigation, a Business Development Officer, an Assistant Accountant in Tax, an Assistant Accountant in Cash Management, an Office Administrator, and a Receptionist. The company is also hiring two people each for the roles of Supply Chain Assistant (Stores & Warehouse), Security Officer (Operations), and Graduate Engineer (Power Dispatch).

    KETRACO has provided detailed job descriptions, qualifications, and application instructions on its website, www.ketraco.co.ke.

    The company emphasized its commitment to fair hiring practices, stating that it adheres to constitutional requirements for equal employment opportunities.

    Interested candidates have until March 17, 2025, to submit their applications.
