    Man killed, body dumped in maize plantation in Siaya

    The body of a man was found in a maize plantation after his murder in Ndori, Rarieda, Siaya County.

    The man had a fractured right leg when his body was found, police said.

    The body was not immediately identified at the time the body was found.

    Police said they moved to the mortuary pending identification and an autopsy.

    Police said they are investigating the motive.

    In Mwala, Machakos County, one Kisilu Munguti Mbatha died after he had been assaulted by unknown people.

    The victim was walking from Banguu when he was attacked in the area, police said. He succumbed while being attended to at a local hospital, police said.

    In Kiutine, Meru County, one Samuel Murungi, 65 was found dead and lying in a pool blood after suspected murder.

    He had head injuries which were consistent with a blunt force trauma.

    A suspect was arrested in connection with the murder. The suspect was rescued from a mob which wanted to lynch him, police said.

    The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other investigations.

    In Suna, Migori County, a man was found dead in a thicket near Nyabisawa area.

    Police said the body was partially decomposed when it was found on Tuesday afternoon.

    The man was identified as Felix Adundo, 22. The body had visible injuries and police suspect he was killed elsewhere and the body dumped at the site.

    The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations.

    In Posta area, Laikipia County, a 15-year-old boy was found dead and his body lying in a pool of blood after his murder.

    The body was lying in a grazing field in the Naibor area on Tuesday morning.

    The body had stab wounds on the face and two wounds within the stomach area, police said.

    The motive of the murder was not immediately established, police said as they moved the body to the mortuary.
