A freed terror suspect Philip Omondi Ochieng is suing the government for the loss of his libido during incarceration.
He said that he wants Sh.50 million for unlawful incarceration, cruelty, torture, inhuman and degrading treatment.
The man, 27, who was released after the court found him innocent says his marriage is on the rocks because he cannot satisfy his wife sexually.
“I can’t sustain an erection unless I use drugs, which I can hardly afford. This distressing situation is putting me in trouble with my wife,” Omondi said.
Omondi who cannot afford legal fees contacted the Independent Medico and Legal Unit (IMLU) who helped him conduct forensic examination on his genitals to ascertain whether they were injured while in custody.

He claims he was unlawfully arrested after being linked to a grenade attack at Yahya Hotel in Mandera in February 2015.
He was tortured by the anti terror police unit who took him to the fresh mass graves in Mandera and coerced him to confess to being a part of the Al Shabaab.
He was then allegedly taken to the police station where two Kenya Police Reservists (KPRs) allegedly stripped him naked and started squeezing his testicles demanding that he disowns his name for a Muslim identity.
“I was seriously beaten and the worst of it all, my testicles were squeezed by a pair of pliers. This was done so that I could confess to be a Muslim faithful, yet in real sense I am a committed Christian and I have never converted Islam,” Omondi said.
