Things may not be going as planned for Rich Mavoko as he met once again with BASATA (Baraza la Sanaa Tanzania) and this time, with the Wasafi CEO, Diamond Platnumz.
The two, Diamond and Mavoko acted aloof with each other as neither of them said hi to the other. They were meeting for the first time since Mavoko left the record label.
Rich Mavoko’s facial expression was that of someone who is scared and cannot predict what will happen to him next.
There are allegations that Mavoko owes Wasafi so much money and there’s no way he could be allowed to leave the record label unless he pays back the money.
If he was to ever leave, he would have to work for seven years, paying half his salary to Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB).
Rich Mavoko declined to answer any questions posed by the journalists present after the meeting with BASATA.
“Siwezi kuongea. Unanilipa? mtanilipa nikiongea? Haya nipe hela basi nionge,” he told the journalists pressing him.
Mavoko was accompanied by his Sister Doki while diamond came with his managers, Babu Tale and Sallam SK.
Rich Mavoko’s fate is yet to be known as BASATA contradictly maintains that Rich has not yet left Wasafi.
