    State Agencies Announce New Jobs And Internships

    Several government institutions have announced new job and internship opportunities for qualified Kenyans.

    The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has advertised three vacancies, including Deputy Director, Internal Audit & Assurance, and two driver positions.

    “The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) is seeking competent, capable, ambitious, self-motivated and dynamic individuals that demonstrate the appropriate expertise and experience to contribute to the implementation of our mandate and the achievement of our vision to be a model regulator of Political Parties for a credible democratic multiparty system,” the notice reads.

    Interested candidates can download application forms from the ORPP website and submit physical applications with the required documents by September 16, 2025, at 5.00 pm.

    The National Treasury has also invited applications for the position of Procurement Officer. Details are available on the Treasury website, with the application deadline set for September 9, 2025, at 4.30 pm.

    At the Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA), 13 positions are up for grabs, including Principal ICT Officer, Corporate Communications Officer, Chemist, Office Administrator, Lab Technician, engineers, artisans, and a senior driver. Applicants are required to submit applications online or in hard copy by September 16, 2025, at 5.00 pm.

    The University of Eldoret is seeking to fill 19 vacancies in roles such as lecturers, Assistant Dean of Students, Chaplain, Assistant Registrar, accountants, clinical officer, student counsellor, and administrative assistants. Applications should be sent in PDF format via email to the Vice-Chancellor by September 5, 2025, midnight.

    The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has also announced five senior vacancies, including Deputy Director positions in ICT, Information Security, Labour and Industrial Relations, Security Services, and one Assistant Director position. The commission has further opened a one-year ICT internship programme for five youths, aimed at providing practical experience in line with the government’s internship policy. Applications must be submitted online through the TSC recruitment portal by September 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

    Meanwhile, the ICT Authority has invited applications for the Presidential Digital Talent Programme (PDTP) Cohort X, a 12-month internship targeting young ICT graduates. The programme will offer training and mentorship in both public and private institutions, with opportunities in areas such as network infrastructure, software development, artificial intelligence, information security, digital marketing, and data analytics.

    Applicants must be Kenyan youth aged between 21 and 29, unemployed, and recent graduates in ICT or engineering. Applications are to be submitted online at https://recruitment.digitalent.go.ke/ by September 15, 2025, midnight. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
