    Veterinary Medicines Directorate Seeks New CEO

    The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has announced a vacancy for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

    In a public notice published on MyGov on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, VMD said it is looking for a highly competent, proactive, and self-driven individual to lead the organisation.

    Interested candidates are required to submit their applications and supporting documents in both hard and soft copies. Required documents include a National ID or Passport, certified academic certificates, testimonials, and a detailed Curriculum Vitae listing current position, qualifications, work experience, current remuneration, and names of three referees with daytime contact numbers.

    Applications should be emailed as a single PDF file to Chairperson@vmd.go.ke, quoting the job title in the email subject. Hard copies should be delivered in an envelope clearly marked with the job reference number to:

    Pest Control Products Board Plaza, 2nd Floor
    Loresho, Nairobi
    P.O. Box 66171-00800, Westlands, Nairobi

    All applications must be received by Monday, 23rd March 2026, at 5:00 PM EAT.

    Dr. Emily Muema is currently serving as the acting CEO of the Veterinary Medicines Directorate.
