Three brothers are in police custody for allegedly stoning their younger sister’s lover to death, in Bungoma.
The trio from Muyekhe village, Kabuchai constituency is said to have coerced their sister into setting a trap for her deceased boyfriend.
They demanded that the form two student calls her lover and thereafter lay a trap for the 24 year old man.
The man was on his way back home when he met his death. According to a witness, who positively identified two of the assailants, the brothers hit the deceased on the head with a blunt object and then delivered the final blow with a huge stone.
The bereaved mother said that the attackers should have reported her son to the police instead of ending his life.
