    KFC Opens ‘Drive Thru’ Outlet Along Waiyaki Way

    kfcAmerican fast food restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has stepped up its plans to expand across the country.

    This follows the opening of a new drive though outlet along Waiyaki Way.

    KFC through their local franchise, Kuku Foods East Africa, are aiming to open three more outlets by the end of the year.

    “We listen to our customers and their requests form a big part of our growth strategy. We will continue to expand in years to come and strive to give every Kenyan the opportunity to experience our quality food and service we provide at KFC,” Jacques Theunissen, the operations director for Kuku Foods East Africa said.

    According to the restaurant chain they are looking to open outlets at Embakasi’s Southfield Mall, Eldoret’s Rupa Mall and another one in Hurlingham.

    The opening of the Waiyaki Way drive through outlet brings the total number of KFC branches in Nairobi to 12.
