ODM party secretary general Edwin Sifuna and Ford Kenya’s Boni Khalwale were on Tuesday involved in a bitter exchange of words.

This was after the former Kakamega Senator threw a jab at Sifuna during NTV’s morning show, AM Live where he referred to him as a “nobody in politics.”

“Edwin Sifuna is a nobody in the politics of this country! He is nothing! He has contested in Bungoma, in Kanduyi constituency, and he has not been able to go beyond nominations,” the former legislator said.

The former Nairobi senator aspirant quickly responded to the “Bull fighter” who he referred to as a “slay queen.”

“At the end of the day these FK slay queens know what they must do before the sponsor resumes funding for their lifestyles. Endeleeni kuongea tu. Pesa ni mimi niko nayo,” he replied.

The exchange attracted critics from both sides of the political divide. They said:

@edwinsifuna you are like a child that tries to make the sky dirty by throwing soil to it ! The soil eventually falls back on you , making you dirty ! Sifuna has never been elected anywhere , a proud handpicked guy who thinks he equals @KBonimtetezi (shindi shindu)
