    5 Gangsters Filmed Robbing Woman At Gun Point In Mombasa Arrested

    Detectives drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested five people suspected to have robbed a woman at gun point in Makande area, Mombasa county.

    The five,identified as Brighton Naiya Manyala, Mohamed Hassan, Chris Odhiambo Omondi, Evans Munyoki Mburiro and Mutonyi Nzamba were captured on surveillance cameras robbing the woman in undated video.

    “Detectives based in Mombasa have today arrested 5 suspects in connection with a robbery in Aldina & Makande area,” DCI wrote in a tweet.

    In the video , three men are seen walking past the woman as she tries to complete a transaction at the money agent.

    Two of the men turn and head for the woman with one withdrawing for his gun The other man picks the lady’s bag as the three escape using a motor bike.

    During the Sunday operation, the police said two motorcycles – one used during the robbery – were confiscated.

    Police are now pursuing other suspects who are at large.

    “#DCI Detectives at the coastal town are pursuing other suspects connected with this & other robberies, ” DCI said.
