The decomposing body of a scrap metal dealer was found in his yard long after he had gone missing in Tononoka, Mombasa. The body was found stashed in a sack in the yard the deceased owned, police said. A group that was scavenging and loading scrap metal products onto a lorry noticed a foul smell from a sack they had carried. A total of 93 bodies have now been recovered from two mass graves found in Libya during raids on human trafficking networks, the United Nations said Wednesday. One mass grave was found on February 7 on a farm in Jakharrah in northeastern Libya, and a day later another mass grave was discovered in Kufra in the southeast, with a total of 93 bodies found, the UN under-secretary general for African affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, said during a Security Council meeting. Attacks by Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Force have killed hundreds of civilians, including infants, in White Nile state, Sudanese officials and rights groups said Tuesday. Three suspects, including two police officers were arrested for their alleged involvement in an attempted robbery with violence along the Githurai-Soweto railway line, Nairobi.
