Ido Mosseri is an Israeli actor, voice actor, musician, director, and television presenter.
Born on April 17, 1978, in Tel Aviv to a Jewish family, he grew up with a father of Sephardi-Mizrahi (Egyptian-Jewish) descent and a mother of Ashkenazi (Hungarian-Jewish) origin.
He began his career as a child actor and has built a multifaceted presence in Israeli entertainment while also gaining international recognition through Hollywood collaborations.
Siblings
Ido is the younger brother of Tal Mosseri, a well-known Israeli actor, singer, and television presenter.
Tal, born in 1975, gained prominence as a long-time presenter on Arutz HaYeladim (The Kids’ Channel) and has appeared in various theater, film, and television productions.
Tal has been a prominent figure in children’s entertainment in Israel for many years.

Career
Mosseri made his first television appearance in the children’s program Tofsim Rosh in 1987 as a child actor.
He attended Thelma Yellin High School of Arts and later studied acting at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio after completing his service in the Israel Defense Forces.
His early career included roles in Israeli television shows such as Service Not Included, A Matter of Time, and Our Song, as well as guest appearances in series like The Pyjamas, Polishuk, The Arbitrator, and Naor’s Friends.
He has also been a regular on the sketch comedy show The Jews Are Coming, impersonating figures including Benjamin Netanyahu.
Mosseri has maintained a strong presence in Israeli theater, performing at venues such as the Gesher Theatre (in productions like adaptations of The King and I, Les Misérables, and Macbeth), Cameri Theatre, Beersheba Theatre, Beit Lessin Theatre, Habima Theatre, and Haifa Theatre.
He has taken on directing work as well and was active in music as a member of the Tel Aviv Youth Band in his teens, later releasing a spoken word album and contributing to other musical projects.
Internationally, he is best known for his roles alongside Adam Sandler, notably as Oori Shulimson in the 2008 comedy You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, as well as appearances in Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star (2011) and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023), where he played DJ Schmuley.
He has also voiced numerous animated characters in Hebrew dubs, most famously as SpongeBob SquarePants, along with roles such as Krusty the Clown in The Simpsons, characters in Pokémon, Jackie Chan Adventures, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and films including Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, The Incredibles, Encanto, and Mufasa: The Lion King.
