Tragedy struck a village when at least four people were killed while five others were injured after a gold mine collapsed early Saturday morning in West Pokot County. A Kenya Power electrician was electrocuted as he and others were doing maintenance on high-voltage cables in Garissa Town. The incident happened on Thursday June 5 at Burburis area as the victim identified as Fundi Mutinda and others were doing maintenance works . Gunmen raided a village in Loiyangalani, Marsabit County and killed two herders in an incident.
