Armed militants in Pakistan’s Balochistan region have attacked a train carrying more than 400 passengers and taken a number of them hostage, military sources told the BBC on Tuesday. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) fired at the Jaffar Express Train as it travelled from Quetta to Peshawar. There was drama when a man set himself on fire outside the Supreme Court in Nairobi on Tuesday morning. Documents found on him identified him as Kennedy Kipira and said he took the steps over delay justice. He sustained burns in his buttocks, face, hand and back following the morning incident. Fires are still burning on an oil tanker carrying jet fuel and a cargo ship carrying highly toxic chemicals that collided in the North Sea on Monday morning. The Trump administration is repurposing a mobile application – originally created to facilitate asylum appointments – into a way for undocumented migrants already in the US to “self-deport”.
