Police and witnesses said the students blocked Magadi Road towards Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County on Monday in protests over the death of their colleague, Lameck Wambui Mwangi. A salon car carrying sacks of charcoal burnt to ashes in an incident in Likoni, Mombasa County. A driver was carrying an unknown number of sacks of charcoal headed for Mombasa when the fire broke out on Saturday night, police said. The incident happened at Kona Mpya area. The assailant identified as Nahashon Kipkosgey Limo also shot and injured a second colleague in the Sunday March 9 drama, witnesses said.
