They were arrested in connection with the September 28 murder of 26-year-old Mercy Kwamboka Rufansi in Mwiki area, Kasarani. Detectives want to understand why the killers of the Wells Fargo Human Resource (HR) manager whose body was found in a stream in Yala, Siaya County gouged out his eyes. At least five people have been killed and 22 injured in an attack at the headquarters of an aviation company near the Turkish capital Ankara, authorities have confirmed. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that two attackers, a woman and a man, have been “neutralised”, adding that the attack had most likely involved Kurdish rebel group the PKK. A letter sent to Elon Musk’s political action committee from the US Department of Justice (DOJ) warned that his lottery-style giveaway of $1m per day to a registered voter may be illegal, according to US media.  Mr Musk, who is the world’s richest man, actively campaigns for Republican Donald Trump in his presidential bid against Kamala Harris. A three-judge bench presiding over Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment case has determined that the Deputy Chief Justice (DCJ) has the legal authority to form a bench. A Nigerian national headed for Italy was arrested following claims he was trafficking heroin at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi . Police who were acting on a stop order stopped Omorogieva Evidence Freeman, 25 on October 21 at the departure section. He was scheduled to depart aboard Air France from Nairobi to Italy via Paris. Upon interception, he was escorted to the anti-narcotics office at JKIA, where he emitted 59 pellets suspected to be narcotic drugs. An American national was found dead in his house in Kilimani area, Nairobi. The body of the deceased Mark Allen, 35 was lying on the floor of the house at Jade Residency along Kindaruma Road, police said. A senior advocate of the court was found dead after he was accidentally crushed by his car outside the Kajiado Law Courts. The body of Lawyer James Onchiri Nyaata was found under his car with visible head injuries, witnesses said of the October 22 night incident. A group of human rights organisations has condemned Kenya’s move to hand over four Turkish nationals to their home country despite their status. The group under Police Reforms Working Group said it was shocked by Kenya’s admission that Kenyan law enforcement and foreign affairs agencies played a role in the refoulement and forced return of Mustafa Genç, Oztürk Uzun, Alparslan Tasçi, and Hüseyin Yesilsu, four Turkish nationals from Kenya to Turkey. “The principle of non-refoulement is a cornerstone of refugee protection. A fuel truck ran out of control and exploded into flames near the Ugandan capital on Tuesday, killing at least 10 people.  The disaster occurred on a highway in the town of Kigogwa, about 25 kilometres (15 miles) north of Kampala. “The death toll in the fuel explosion is so far 10 people but we have more injuries reported,” said Charles Lwanga, resident district commissioner for the area.
